In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

by Israeli Occupation Regime Forceshttp://english.wafa.ps/, https://english.palinfo.com/, https://imemc.org/, https://paltoday.ps/ar/ *** *** Casualties following Israeli aerial attacks on Syrian areas Wednesday 30-April-2025 DAMASCUS, (PIC) Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes, on Wednesday afternoon, on the Syrian town of Ashrafiyat Sahnaya, southwest of Damascus, amid ongoing clashes between Syrian security forces and unruly gunmen in the area, Syrian state media reported. According to Syrian state-run Al-Ekhbariya TV, the strikes caused injuries among civilians, including members of the Druze community, who have been at the center of recent unrest near the capital. The report did not specify the number or severity of casualties. Explosions were heard across Damascus shortly after Israeli fighter jets were reported flying at low altitude over the city. The reported strikes came shortly after the Israeli occupation regime issued a warning that it would target positions in Syria on allegations of protecting Druze communities, following days of deadly skirmishes that were triggered by local Druze gunmen in southern Damascus suburbs. Ashrafiyat Sahnaya has been the site of intense clashes since Tuesday night. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 39 people had been killed in Jaramana, Sahnaya, and Ashrafiyat Sahnaya over the past 72 hours, including Druze locals, security forces, and pro-government fighters. *** UN rights chief urges world to act urgently to stop humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Wednesday 30-April-2025 GENEVA, (PIC) The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, has urged the world to “act to stop the humanitarian catastrophe and prevent a complete collapse of critical life-saving support in Gaza.” In a statement on Tuesday, Türk stressed the need for “international efforts to stop this humanitarian catastrophe from reaching unseen levels.” He warned that “any use of starvation of the civilian population as a method of warfare constitutes a war crime, as do all forms of collective punishment.” The UN rights chief also warned that a reported Israeli plan to declare the Rafah governorate in the far south of Gaza as a new “humanitarian zone” would require Palestinians to move there to receive food and other aid. “It is almost certain that such a plan would mean forcing large parts of Gaza and people unable to move easily, including the disabled, the sick, the wounded and women with entire families, to remain without food,” he explained. Turk also stressed that “other countries have clear obligations under international law to ensure that this behavior stops immediately, and they must act accordingly. They must also seek out all perpetrators of crimes under international law and bring them to justice, whoever they may be.” With unconditional US support, Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of more than 170,000 Palestinians, according to preliminary figures, with thousands still trapped under the rubble. *** Israeli closure of UNRWA schools in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) risks depriving 800 Palestinian children of their right to education Wednesday 30-April-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned that the closure of UN-run schools in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) risks depriving some 800 Palestinian students of their right to education. “In less than 10 days, closure orders issued by Israeli officials against six UNRWA schools in East Jerusalem will come into effect,” Roland Friedrich, UNRWA Director of Operations in the West Bank, wrote in a press statement on X, on Wednesday. “These orders violate Israel’s obligations under international law,” he said in a statement. “UNRWA schools in Shu’fat have been part of the social fabric of the camp for decades, enabling children to enjoy high-quality education near their homes,” he added. “Little girls are now afraid that their dreams of becoming doctors or scientists will evaporate if they lose their access to education,” he further elaborated. The Israeli closure orders are seen as part of Tel Aviv’s wider campaign against UNRWA and its mandate of serving Palestinian refugees. The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that the Israeli decision means depriving hundreds of students of their right to education, destroying their future, attempting to impose the Israeli curriculum on them, and damaging the educational process, in a flagrant violation of the immunity and privileges enjoyed by the United Nations and its headquarters and institutions. *** 'Abdullah Al-Barghouthi facing brutal torture in Israeli jail Wednesday 30-April-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Asra Media Office has affirmed that Palestinian political prisoner 'Abdullah Al-Barghouthi is facing systematic attempts to kill him in the Israeli occupation regime Gilboa prison and his health condition has reached a life-threatening stage. In a statement on Tuesday, Asra Media said it received information confirming that Al-Barghouthi had been exposed to repeated brutal physical attacks that left injuries all over his body, including blue bruises on his skin, blood clots in head, swellings in his eyes and fractures in his ribs. Asra Media explained that members of a prisoner suppression unit led by an officer called Amir repeatedly assaulted Barghouthi in his cell, resulting in his loss of about half a liter of blood from his body during each attack. “Every time they finished beating him, they brought in dogs to maul his blood-soaked body, reportedly on the commanding officer’s orders to ‘let the dogs have fun with him,’” Asra Media added. Members of the unit also poured hot dishwashing liquid on Barghouthi’s body following each torture session he went through to increase his pains, according to Asra Media. “You were once a leader, but today you are nothing. You must die,” the officer once told Barghouthi. As a result of his exposure to such excruciating torture, Barghouthi repeatedly loses consciousness. He is also unable to sleep normally as his suffering from severe pains forces him to try to sleep while sitting on the ground with his head bent forward. Additionally, he soaks bread in water and then drinks it as he cannot chew. He has also not been able to bathe for 12 days, according to the information received by Asra Media. Asra Media appealed to international human rights organizations, especially the Red Cross, to urgently visit Barghouthi and report his health condition. *** ****** Gaza: 35 martyrs and 109 wounded people in 24 hours Wednesday 30-April-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 35 Palestinian martyrs and 109 people suffering from different injuries, due to the Israeli genocidal attacks on the Palestinian population there. Since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025 following a two-month ceasefire, a total of 2,308 people have been killed and 5,973 others have been injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Wednesday. The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 52,400 martyrs. The total number of the wounded also surged to 118,014 people. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip. *** Dozens of Palestinians in Gaza killed, injured in ongoing Israeli attacks Wednesday 30-April-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Wednesday to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians. According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further exacerbating the dire humanitarian suffering of the population. According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporters in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike on an apartment that killed a man, along with his wife and girl child, and injured his son in the north of an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Another airstrike on citizens collecting plastic waste in the east of Ein Jalud apartment buildings in an-Nuseirat camp killed two of them and injured several others. Casualties were also reported following an Israeli artillery attack on civilians near the Karamish sports field in the north of an-Nuseirat camp. A child was reportedly martyred following an Israeli artillery attack on the northern entrance of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. A fisherman was martyred when an Israeli gunboat attacked his boat near the shores of Gaza City. Meanwhile, the Israeli army bombed a group of civilians in al-Sha’af area of Gaza City’s at-Tuffah neighborhood, killing one of them. In southern Gaza, an Israeli strike targeted a gathering of citizens in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, killing one of them and injuring two others. An Israeli drone also targeted tents sheltering displaced families in al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, killing six civilians and injuring others. The bodies of three martyrs were evacuated to the European Gaza Hospital following an Israeli attack in al-Manara neighborhood in the east of Khan Yunis. The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women. *** Israeli bombardment kills several Palestinians, injures others in northern Strip GAZA, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli bombardment on Wednesday evening killed several Palestinians and injured others in Beit Hanoun town in the northern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. They said that a Palestinian woman succumbed to her injury several days after her family's house was bombed by Israeli occupation forces in Qizan an-Najjar area, south of Khan Younes. They added that another woman died of her wounds she had sustained several days ago when an Israeli combat drone targeted a gathering of civilians at Zaytouna Café in Deir al-Balah. Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children. The death toll reached at least 2,308 with 5,973 others wounded, according to medical sources. Emergency teams are attempting to recover victims still trapped beneath the rubble. Since the dawn hours of today, Wednesday, Israeli airstrikes have killed 29 civilians across the Strip. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 35 slain Palestinians and 109 casualties were admitted to hospitals in the Strip. The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid. Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 52,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 118,014 others. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. K.F. *** One civilian killed in an Israeli drone in southern Gaza Strip GAZA, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – One civilian was killed in an Israeli drone targeting the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 52,400 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 118,014 others. The ongoing blockade also hinders the transfer of supplies from the south to the north of the Strip, further complicating humanitarian operations. It is worth noting that 65,000 children have been hospitalized due to severe malnutrition, out of a total of 1.1 million children suffering from hunger every day. Y.S. *** Two children among 6 Palestinians killed in Israeli Khan Yunis attack Wednesday 30-April-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Six Palestinians, including two children, Maisara, 8, and Yousuf Abdul Quddous Sulayman Al-Mudallal, 9, were killed and ten others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting tents sheltering displaced individuals in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, southern Gaza, on Tuesday evening. The attack raises the death toll in the city to 18 since the early hours of the same day. Among the victims were the two brothers, Maisara, 8, and Yousuf Abdul Quddous Sulayman Al-Mudallal, 9, as well as 75-year-old Mansour Mu'hammed Mansour Abu Muammar, Subhi Ismail Jargoun, Abdul Rahman Mohammed al-Maghari, and Mohammed Kamal Mahmoud Zannoun, who succumbed to his injuries later. Earlier in the day, Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple locations in Khan Yunis, including the al-Manara neighborhood and the Qizan al-Najjar area. Homes belonging to residents Idrees Farwana, Hani Hamdi al-Shaer, and Abu Khaled Islayh were destroyed. In a separate incident, three individuals—Mahmoud Ali Eid al-Shaer, Abdul Rahman Hassan Eid al-Shaer, and Yusuf Ubaid Mohammed al-Arja—were killed by an Israeli drone strike in Qizan al-Najjar. Additionally, the bodies of four individuals—Yusuf Hassan Islayh, Louay Zaki Kawarea, Mohammed Salem Sarhan, and Hussein Hassan Abu Azzoum—were recovered from the al-Manara neighborhood following a prior Israeli airstrike. On Monday night, at least five people, including three children, were killed and over 40 others injured in an Israeli artillery strike on tents housing displaced persons in the southern al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. Ambulances transported the casualties to the British Hospital and the Red Cross facility. These attacks have intensified the already dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where over 52,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. *** Gaza war deprives 800,000 students of ‘right to education’, says UNRWA RAMALLAH, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced Wednesday that the Israeli occupation authorities will deprive 800 children of their right to education as six of its schools in East Jerusalem are set to close. “In less than 10 days, closure orders issued by Israeli officials against six UNRWA schools in East Jerusalem will come into effect,” said Roland Friedrich, Director of UNRWA Affairs in the West Bank, in a statement on the X platform. He explained that the school closures “threaten the right to education of approximately 800 children, which constitutes a violation of Israel’s obligations under international law.” He added, “UNRWA schools in Shu’fat camp have been part of the social fabric of the camp for decades, allowing children to receive high-quality education close to their homes.” Friedrich added, “The girls now fear that their dreams of becoming doctors or scientists will be dashed if they lose their right to education.” The occupation authorities decided to close six UNRWA schools in the Shuafat refugee camp, Silwan, Wadi al-Joz, and Sur Baher in Jerusalem on the 8th of next month. On October 28, 2024, the Israeli Knesset overwhelmingly approved two laws prohibiting UNRWA from conducting any activities inside Israel, revoking its privileges and facilities, and prohibiting any official contact with it. The decision went into effect at the end of last January. Y.S *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** Palestinian farmer and his son injured in settler attack east of Tubas Wednesday 30-April-2025 NABLUS, (PIC) A Palestinian farmer along with his son were injured and bruised on Wednesday after being assaulted by extremist Jewish settlers while grazing their sheep and livestock east of Tubas, in the northern West Bank, according to local sources. The sources explained that a number of extremist Jewish settlers attacked the farmer Faisal Daraghmeh and his son, Kamel, and tried to steal their livestock while grazing in pastures near their tents in Khirbet Yarzah, east of Tubas. In parallel with the war of annihilation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers have expanded their attacks in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 956 people and the injury of nearly 7,000 others, in addition to 16,400 arrests, according to Palestinian statistics. *** 13-year-old boy injured by Israeli gunfire during raid on Jenin-area town JENIN, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian minor was injured by live Israeli gunfire on Wednesday during a military incursion into the town of Al-Yamun, west of Jenin, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS). PRCS reported that a 13-year-old boy sustained gunshot wounds to the hand and foot during an Israeli military raid on the said town. Israeli occupation forces routinely carry out near-daily raids on Palestinian cities, villages and towns throughout the West Bank, often leading to confrontations with local residents. T.R. *** Palestinian injured by IOF gunfire in Tulkarem Wednesday 30-April-2025 TULKAREM, (PIC) A Palestinian citizen was injured at dawn Wednesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Zeita town, north of Tulkarem in the West Bank. According to local sources, a citizen was injured by IOF gunfire in his lower extremities during his presence near the separation wall in Zeita town. He was rushed to the Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem City. He was identified as a resident of Deir al-Ghusun town in northern Tulkarem. *** Israeli forces conduct multiple raids across West Bank NABLUS, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank governorates of Nablus and Bethlehem, according to local sources and WAFA correspondent. They said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, triggering confrontations. The gun-toting soldiers fired barrages of live ammunition as well as tear gas and concussion bombs. Meanwhile, the occupation forces barged their way into the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and fired volleys of concussion and tear gas bombs. There was no immediate information on any casualties. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. *** IOFS kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids Wednesday 30-April-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped last night and on Wednesday morning several Palestinian citizens during raids in different West Bank areas. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped at least 23 citizens during raids on homes in al-Tabaqa town, south of al-Khalil. Several of them were released later. The IOFs also interrogated dozens of citizens, fired live ammunition, took down Palestinian flags, and posted warnings on walls during its campaign in the town. In Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens from their homes in 'Anabta town and another one form Far’aun town. Two other citizens were taken prisoners during an IOFs raid in Qalqilya City. The IOFs also kidnapped a young man from Shuqba town in western Ramallah and two others from the east Jerusalem district of Al-'Eisawiyya. *** Israeli occupation forces kidnap disabled person attacked by the illegal Israeli settlers, in southern West Bank HEBRON, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained a Palestinian disabled person who was attacked by colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to a local activist. Osama Makhamra said that armed Israeli colonists assaulted a disabled father along with his son while the latter were grazing their sheep in Wadi al-Juwaya (al-Juwaya Valley), attempted to steal their sheep, and opened fire at them. He added that the occupation soldiers detained the disabled father afterward. Meanwhile, armed colonists chased Palestinian shepherds in Khribet ar-Rakiz, denying them access to pastures. Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by colonists and soldiers targeting their main source of living - livestock. It has been designated as a closed Israeli military zone for training since the 1980s and accordingly referred to as Firing Zone 918. Israeli violations against the area include demolition of animal barns, homes, and residential structures. The issuance of construction permits by Israel to local Palestinians in the area is non-existent. Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law. K.F. *** IOF continues its aggression on Tulkarem for 94 consecutive days Wednesday 30-April-2025 TULKAREM, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank for the 94th consecutive day on Wednesday, while the aggression against Nour Shams refugee camp has entered day 81. The aggression continues, with ongoing escalation on the ground and a continuous campaign of raids and arrests. The city witnessed active movements of occupation vehicles and foot patrols roaming the main and side streets, obstructing the movement of citizens and their vehicles, and detaining a number of young men and interrogating them in the field. Last night, IOFs patrols stormed the suburb of Thenaba, east of Tulkarem, and intensified their presence in its neighborhoods and the vicinity of its schools, stopping and searching vehicles, and checking the IDs of passengers. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops raided a cafe in the suburb, searched it, and subjected the young men who were present there to field interrogation, in addition to storming some homes in the same area. The IOFs kidnapped three young men after beating them: Amir Assaf, Ayham Shaban, and Shadi Shaban. In a related development, the IOF soldiers were deployed heavily in Jabal al-Nasr area in the Nur Shams camp, firing stun grenades and flare bombs in the area, accompanied by heavy shooting of live ammunition. The ongoing Israeli aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps has resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens. *** 507,000 unemployed in Palestine, workers’ monthly losses reach 1.35 billion Shekels RAMALLAH, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) - On the occasion of the International Workers' Day, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU), Shaher Saad, stated that tens of thousands of Palestinian workers have been deprived of their wages for the past 17 months, in full view of the entire world. Saad explained that the unemployment rate has surged dramatically in Palestinian society, with a staggering 507,000 people currently unemployed. In his statement on Wednesday, Saad reported that thousands of workers have been detained, subjected to abuse, torture and enforced disappearance, in addition to facing fines imposed by the Israeli military, all for no reason other than their pursuit of a livelihood, particularly since October 7, 2023. He further emphasized another aspect of the suffering faced by Palestinian workers who lost their jobs and livelihoods in Israel. A large number of workers have been forced to sell personal belongings in order to secure some form of financial relief, he added. Saad stressed that in every country around the world, workers benefit from social protection and insurance, including social security. However, he pointed out that 89% of Palestinian workers lack any form of social protection or pension funds. He underscored that unemployment, poverty, and hunger are the defining themes of International Workers' Day in Palestine this year. Additionally, he stated that the monthly losses for workers are estimated at 1.35 billion Shekels. T.R. *** Unemployment soars to 68% in Gaza, 31% in West Bank – Statistics Bureau RAMALLAH, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) - According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), as of October 7th, 2023, results of Labor Force Survey (LFS) in Gaza Strip during the aggression in the 4th quarter of 2024 showed that unemployment rates reached unprecedented levels of about 68% compared to about 45% in the 3rd quarter of 2023. Results also showed that labor force participation rate decreased to reach about 30% compared with 40% in the 3rd quarter of 2023 before October 7th 2023. In a press release issued on the occasion of the International Workers' Day, PCBS said that this impact has not only been reflected on Gaza Strip but also on the West Bank even if it was less affected. “The impact of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and its repercussions in the West Bank of increasing restrictions and tightening the stranglehold on the governorates of the West Bank, disconnecting communication and roads between the governorates, as well as forbidding workers to access their work inside the occupied territories of Palestine. Hence, all these reasons and more have paralyzed the economic movement in the West Bank.“ As for the West Bank, the number of unemployed persons increased to reach 313 thousand in 2024 compared to about 183 thousand in 2023. Also, unemployment rates among participants in the labor force in the West Bank increased to about 31% in 2024 compared to 18% in 2023. Unemployment rate increased among both males and females to reach 31.7% and 30.1%, respectively, in 2024. T.R. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, perform Talmudic rituals Wednesday 30-April-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated on Wednesday morning the Al-Aqsa Mosque after storming its courtyards from the Al-Maghariba Gate, under heavy police guard, according to the Islamic Endowment Department in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The Endowment Department reported that the intruding settlers organized provocative tours in the Al-Aqsa’s courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals. The occupation police imposed severe restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering Al-Aqsa and detained some of them at the Mosque’s gates. On Tuesday evening, the occupation police prevented the call to evening prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the speech of head of the occupation state at Al-Buraq Square. Well-informed sources in the Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem confirmed that the call to the evening prayer was made only from the Qibli Mosque, Al-Aqsa’s courtyards, and from the minaret of Bab Al-Ghawanma, due to the presence of occupation police in the area. The so-called “Temple groups” had earlier announced their intention to raise the Israeli flag inside Al-Aqsa Mosque on May 1, in celebration of what they call “Independence Day” and the declaration of the establishment of their state on the Palestinian land. Except Fridays and Saturdays, Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected every day to repeated violations and incursions by settlers and occupation police forces in an attempt to change its status quo. *** Israeli forces seize agricultural tractor, vehicle east of Jenin JENIN, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday seized an agricultural tractor and vehicle in the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin. *** Israeli colonists torch farmlands, stab Palestinian near Nablus NABLUS, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Wednesday evening torched Palestinian-owned farmlands and stabbed a Palestinian in the town of Duma, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources. The assailants attacked a 27-year-old resident, stabbing him in the back. The casualty was rushed to a nearby medical center for urgent treatment. There was no immediate information about his medical condition. The attack came as huge fires rapidly spread across the Jerusalem Hills, reaching Israeli occupation forces’ bases and prompting Israel to request international assistance, with Greece, Croatia, Italy, and Cyprus deploying firefighting resources. The fires coincided with a heatwave combined with strong winds that caused the fires to spiral out of control, prompting the evacuation of many communities. Israeli colonists stepped up their attacks against Palestinians, particularly following remarks accusing Palestinians of starting the wave of fires and describing the fires as acts of nationalistic motivated violence. the wave of fires as an act of Palestinian nationalistic violence. K.F. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Arab League condemns Israeli authorities' closure of Jerusalem Fund and Endowment RAMALLAH, April 30, 2025 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Arab League condemned the decision by extremist minister in the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, to close the Jerusalem Fund and Endowment, a charitable, developmental, and humanitarian institution. In a statement issued by the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector on Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the Arab League said that this decision falls within the framework of systematic Israeli policies aimed at imposing new facts on the ground aimed at undermining the Palestinian presence and obliterating the Arab identity of occupied Jerusalem. It also includes the ongoing closure of all institutions, associations, and bodies operating in East Jerusalem. This is a continuation of the crimes of genocide, displacement, colonization, Judaization, and annexation that the occupation authorities are persistently committing, in flagrant defiance and violation of the law and the will of the international community. The statement warned against systematic Israeli policies aimed at Judaizing Jerusalem and breaking the steadfastness of the people of Jerusalem, calling on the international community to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities in implementing international legitimacy resolutions, especially those related to the situation in East Jerusalem, through serious and effective steps that compel the occupation to reverse its racist colonial policy and comply with international legitimacy resolutions, and provide protection to the Palestinian people to enable them to exercise their right to self-determination and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Y.S *** WFP warns of mass deaths from hunger as Israel persists in closing Gaza border crossings Wednesday 30-April-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The UN World Food Program (WFP) has warned that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has reached a “critical point,” telling Al Jazeera satellite channel it has already depleted its remaining food stocks and is now unable to feed the population. WFP spokeswoman Abeer Etefa stated on Wednesday that around 700,000 people used to receive meals each day from the program, but the failure to bring more aid into Gaza stopped this food support. Etefa added that many trucks carrying aid are now stranded at the Gaza border crossings without being able to enter in order for the program to resume serving meals to the hungry. “We may see deaths from malnutrition as the crossings remain closed,” she warned. During the brief truce earlier this year, the WFP managed to deliver between 30,000 and 40,000 tons of aid. However, that flow of aid has stopped, leaving the Gazans at increasing risk of large-scale famine. In the same context, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) had described the situation in Gaza as “catastrophic on all levels” due to the Israeli blockade that prevents the entry of humanitarian and medical supplies. The organization’s emergency director, Claire Nicolet, said in press remarks that the International Court of Justice’s decision to start advisory proceedings regarding Israel’s obligations as an occupying power to allow the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza would take time that Gazans cannot afford. Nicolet accused Israel of using aid as a “weapon of war and a means of collective punishment,” adding that “since March 2, Israel’s complete blockade on the entry of humanitarian aid and supplies has had deadly consequences for civilians and has crippled the ability of medical and aid workers to respond meaningfully.” “MSF teams on the ground are witnessing critical shortages of medical supplies and food,” she said. “Governments must increase pressure on Israeli authorities to lift the blockade and allow large-scale humanitarian access to this devastated area, to prevent further suffering and loss of life.” *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
